Charter schools in Arkansas are public schools that offer more flexibility in their educational programs. There are two types of charter schools in Arkansas:<\/p>\n

  1. Open-Enrollment Charter Schools<\/strong> \u2013 These are available to all Arkansas residents, regardless of their district.<\/li>\n
  2. District Conversion Charter Schools<\/strong> \u2013 These schools were once traditional public schools and are limited to students within the district.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Charter schools often use a lottery system for enrollment if demand exceeds capacity.
