Little Rock School District (LRSD) has announced plans to restructure its campuses, with select elementary and middle schools being eyed for potential closure due to declining enrollment.
Though the final decision won’t be made officially until October 2026, the “LRSD Forward” plan highlights the following campuses as being at risk for closing:
- Western Hills Elementary School
- Mabelvale Elementary and Middle Schools
- McDermott Elementary School
- Williams Elementary School
- Mann Middle School
If you believe your child may be affected by one of the proposed campus closings, it may be time to consider locating a new school.
